Obliterated… and the flu

I’m holding on to the tethers of my sanity fighting the infection while writing the last chapter of Fangs and Family to be free for Christmas. Of course, as soon as I had a thousand things to do, I got ‘man flu’, and I thoroughly blamed it on the child. My stepdaughter is now perfectly well while I kept sneezing and woke up today with a “head cold”.

Just imagine my joy when I’m trying to write while my nose keeps dribbling on the keyboard.

I don’t know how about you, but I’m terrible at resting. Still, I’m trying, and instead of writing, I binged on “Obliterated” on Netflix and OMG. This is hilarious to a very new level. I think it is one of my favourite action comedy series this year. It is like a Hangover but with a nuke, washboard abs and that one guy with three fingers who keeps getting drunk.

I know I have a twisted sense of humour, and I often find the most inappropriate situations the most hilarious, but this series just beats it all. From washing the guy’s arse in the fountain to having a drug-fueled party next to the disabled nuclear bomb with the camel in the background.

And Hagerty… I just love this guy!

If you are bored, tired or simply want to take a break from adult life, I highly recommend it.
