Editing your own work

A long time ago I’ve binged on Chinese historical drama. It was really good, a proper romance but in the most important moment subtitles flipped and was so bad and yet so hilarious that I saved a snapshot of it.

Why it is relevant?

Editing your own work after feedback from beta readers feels just like I’m the author of those subtitles. I’m trying to incorporate something meaningful from all very good and helpful suggestions instead some utter nonsense came out and I have to re-edit again.

But on a positive note, I’ve already finished two chapters so yay me, and it looks good, really good.

And with this, I’m back to editing.
